Dario Righetti, graduated from “L. Bocconi” University in Milan in 1981 with a degree in Business and Economics, is registered at the Register of Chartered Accountants since 1993 and he is an authorized Italian Auditor since 1995. He has PCAOB Accreditation (TK level).

He joined Arthur Andersen in 1981 where he became partner in 1994. Following the merger between Andersen and Deloitte, from 2005 to 2018, he has been Industry Leader of Consumer & Industrial Products and Member of the Deloitte EMEA Leadership Team for the same Industry.

During his career he had significant experiences in providing accounting and auditing services to Italian and multinational groups in the manufacturing, consumer goods and retail sectors, focusing in particular on projects related to the auditing of procedures and processes and to the analysis of financial statements and reporting.

Instructor in internal Deloitte training courses and in external courses (Centromarca, Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti e Revisori Contabili, Ferrero Corporate University) for issues concerning financial analysis, management control, accounting principles and auditing standards; Ethics in Business (Politecnico di Milano, February 2017), he collaborates with specialized and sector magazines in the drafting and publication of articles on financial statements’ analysis and management control in the consumer business and retail sectors. He participated as a speaker in seminars and conferences addressed to senior management on issues related to management control (Centromarca, International Horeca meeting, GS1).

He is currently in charge as statutory auditor in Luxottica Group S.p.A. as well as in Bouygues E&S Intec Italia S.p.A. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of SDF S.p.A., where he is also Chairman of the Internal Control Committee, and is a member of the Supervisory Body of Ferrero Commerciale Italia S.p.A and Indipendent Director of Farmaè S.p.a.

From 26 April 2019 he is Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of ENAV S.p.A.
