Rome, 11 – 13 September 2017 – The ICAO Surveillance Panel took place in Rome, at the Enav’s Area Control Centre. It’s a panel discussion about the Surveillance organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization, and Enav participated as a national representative. During the meeting, aeronautical surveillance aspects have been addressed and it was a chance to analyze the different technological platforms inherent the “performance based approach”. Particularly, given a minimum separation between two aircrafts, the working group defined the surveillance performance data to performed the separation.
