Held at the “Polo Tecnologico di Trentino Sviluppo”, from 16 to 18 November 2018. It is the most important national event in the meteorology sector and meteorological studies.

The 2018 edition, revolves around the question "Who needs meteorology?" with the intent to highlight various aspects of the meteo sector: its scientific and technological bases, the professional roles that are emerging thanks to recent developments in this field and its multiple applications to activities that are directly affected and conditioned by the weather.

The event program, which  introduced internationally renowned experts, includes three days of conferences, educational activities and exhibitions open to the general public. Major Italian and international companies in the field of aviation meteorology, the measurement of weather and climate change systems and latest generation technologies and services will in fact be hosted and exhibiting.

ENAV attended with an exhibiting space; an important opportunity to present its meteorological systems and services, developed thanks to its experience in the aeronautical field.

ENAV meteorologists will be attending, as speaker and moderators, several scientific seminars, educational lectures and technical presentations during this event.

This year the "EDAMS 4.0” station will be showcased - “a new meteo system datalogger concept for a more valuable logistic management”. An innovative and effective solution for low-cost surface atmospheric observations in several dedicated areas.

The Festivalmeteorologia  therefore represented a precious opportunity for mutual awareness and interaction among the different realities of Italian and international meteorology, an increasingly relevant topic both in industrial and personal dynamics.
