Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix 2018 - ENAV managed the total number of helicopter movements in complete safety.

Enav managed, during the 2018 Italian Grand Prix held at the Monza Formula 1 motor racing circuit, from 31 August to 2 September, the whole helicopter traffic control service dedicated to the event.

A team of ENAV highly qualified air traffic control officers, in fact, managed and coordinated, safe and timely, a mobile control tower, equipped with the most sophisticated technologies, throughout the show.

Many different types of helicopters, carrying the participating Teams and their guests, the local Authorities, the numerous fans and the people who attended the event, took-off and landed from the expressly designed helipad, operating from Linate airport to the Monza circuit and more national and European locations.

During the Italian Grand Prix an ENAV Mobile Control Tower had managed safe and timely a total of more than 350 movements with a peak of 50 hourly movements.
