Enav participated in the second edition of Festivalmeteorologia 2016, held at the Polo Tecnologico di Trentino Sviluppo Rovereto, from 11 to 12 November 2016.
Major companies in the field of meteorological services, institutional bodies, associations, researchers, scientists and professionals who deal with the importance of meteorology and meteorological studies, their economic and risk prevention value, attended this event.
The 2016 edition program of the festival revolves around the question: "What is the value of meteorology?".

Other topics introduced  how to do business with the "weather", create jobs and new professional careers, reduce incidents and improve the quality of life in general.

The event represented an important opportunity to present ENAV meteorological dedicated systems and services, based on solid know-how, developed through its experience within the aeronautical field.

ENAV institutional tasks also include the aviation weather service, run by the Meteorology Department producing both observation reports, run by the Units stationed in more than 40 national airports, and estimate reports, run by the Meteorological Forecasting Unit, which is based in Rome and Milan.

ENAV meteorologists  attended, as speaker and moderators, several scientific seminars and educational lectures during this event.
