Pre-Flight Information Service

pdp

A dynamic aeronautical information system, which includes an on-call weather briefing service and enables customers (such as pilots or their representatives) to submit their flight plan and self-acquire NOTAMs, AIS/MET information, and the last updated documentation prior to the start of a flight.

ENAV’s AROs/CBOs (ATS reporting office with central briefing office capability) support our customers (airspace and ground users), enabling pilots or their representatives to self-acquire a Pre-Flight Information Bulletin (PIB) with all essential information and appropriate documentation regarding aeronautical information management and flight planning submission.

Through our Self-Briefing (SB) function, an automated web browser system – which is also available on mobile devices, our customers can use a self-driven menu to access an integrated briefing, flexible provision and presentation of data required during the pre-flight activities for the preparation and execution of a flight, thereby enabling a generic briefing process by enhancing the access to and provision of various data/information sources such as NOTAMs, SNOWTAMs and MET messages to perform a safe flight with stress-free FPL submission and inclusive of the related follow up messages.

Our staff and professionals (Flight Information Service Officers) using our own aeronautical systems and assets to support our customers in performing their duties.
