Rome, 16 October 2026 – ENAV announces that, thanks to the activation of its secondary satellite network, operational capacity for managing flights within Italian airspace has reached 75%, marking a steady increase compared to the previous hours.

The alternative data transmission system is ensuring the continuity of air traffic control services while maintaining the highest safety standards.

ENAV continues to work in close coordination with its service providers to restore the full functionality of the primary network, with the aim of returning to 100% operational capacity as quickly as possible.
