The ENAV Group took part in the 47th edition of the Rimini Meeting, taking place from 21 to 26 August 2026
The ENAV Group took part in the 47th edition of the Rimini Meeting, which took place from 21 to 26 August 2026, showcasing its activities within the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport Pavilion at the Rimini Trade Fair Centre.
The 2026 edition, which featured several distinguished guests, including Pope Leo XIV, who visited the Meeting on Saturday 22 August to meet participants, also welcomed a number of institutional representatives, among them Matteo Salvini, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Transport.
Throughout the event, ENAV presented its leading innovations in air traffic management, with a particular focus on sustainability, digitalisation and the development of advanced air mobility, highlighting its role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of Italy’s national airspace.
ENAV’s participation in the Meeting provided an opportunity to raise public awareness of the essential public service it delivered, enabling aircraft to operate safely, smoothly and efficiently across Italian skies every day.
Significant attention was also given to training, one of the Meeting’s key themes. In this context, ENAV showcased its Forlì Training Centre, an internationally recognised centre of excellence for the training of air traffic controllers and technical aviation professionals. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about training pathways, required skills and the career opportunities available within the aviation sector.
The exhibition area featured demonstration stations and interactive activities illustrating the various stages of flight management, as well as services dedicated to the drone sector. It also included a “Fun Learning” area, where younger visitors were able to explore the world of aviation through quizzes, presentations and educational activities organised by the Group’s Training Team.
The event therefore represented a valuable opportunity to bring citizens, young people and families closer to the world of air traffic control, showcasing the value of the services provided by ENAV, the innovations transforming the sector, and the professionals who contributed every day to the safety of Italy’s skies.
