The second appointment of DroneX Trade Show & Conference of 2022 took place at the ExCeL Exhibition Center in London from 7 to  8 September.

ENAV Group and its subsidiary d-flight, a company also owned by the industrial partners Leonardo and Telespazio, attended the second edition of the largest event in the United Kingdom dedicated to UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) products, accessories, and services in the context of  UTM sector (Unmanned Traffic Management).

As an important international stage, DroneX  focused on four strategic areas: commercial, future of flight, the defence sector, and emergency services.

The main goal of the event was to stimulate conversations among industry players and encourage effective collaboration to achieve tangible results and ensure that developments are guiding the change of the future. This year DroneX saw more than 3,000 guests including delegates and visitors who  had the opportunity to participate in the launch of the live demo area, a space dedicated to industry leaders who presented revolutionary and innovative projects.

Within the event, the exhibition space of the ENAV Group hosted d-flight, a company that manages the only platform in Italy for the distribution of services for drones. d-flight pursues the development and provision of low-altitude air traffic management services for remotely piloted aircraft (APR) and all other types of aircraft that fall into the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in the country; the company dedication is to supply services and technologies for the development and growth of Advanced and Urban Air Mobility (UAM).

As an important strategic point, the ENAV stand took this opportunity to create a productive networking and present the Group's activities through numerous initiatives, including the participation in a seminar on the second day of the event.

The seminar was part of a rich content with more than 50 hours of discussions on issues such as the decarbonisation of industry and the safety of airspace sharing, with important companies involved such as Airbus, Rolls Royce, EHang, CAA , NATS and many others.
