Giuseppe Mongiello has been Standing auditor of ENAV since 3 June 2022

Graduated in 1986 in Business Administration at the Ca 'Foscari University of Venice, he has been a Chartered Accountant since 1991 and a Certified Auditor since 1992.

He began his career in 1988 at Ernst & Young, immediately after serving as an officer in the Guardia di Finanza, where he developed part of his professional career. International Tax partner of Ernst & Young since 1999, after having founded and directed his own professional firm since 1994, he was entrusted with the responsibility of Ernst & Young Italia for the Tax Public sector, becoming a member of EY's EMEIA Leadership Team & Young for the Climate Change & Sustainability sector until 2011. After an experience as International tax Partner in Willkie Farr & Gallagher, he became equity partner of Studio Tonucci & Partners in 2018.

He has gained significant experience in advising large multinational groups in the aerospace & defense, aviation, life sciences & healthcare, energy, tele-communication and manufacturing sectors, participating in M​​&A operations of international significance.

Member for about three years of the scientific direction of the master in Domestic and International Tax Planning of the Ernst & Young Business School he is speaker in external courses (Order of Chartered Accountants and Auditors of Rome, Westminster University and Imperial College of London) for the topics concerning financial analysis, corporate governance and accounting principles. He collaborates with specialised and sector magazines in the drafting and publication of articles concerning both national and international taxation. He participates as a speaker in seminars and conferences on tax and economic and financial issues.

He has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Statutory Auditors of Salini Costruttori Spa (Webuild) and of Chairman of the board of Statutory auditors of the Italian committee of the World Food Program, and is currently a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Italy and of the Supervisory Body of Acciona (renewable energies).
