Navigation systems transmit electromagnetic signals through space, enabling the aircraft receiving these signals to determine their location and position themselves along the air corridors and approach paths during landing.

ENAV navigation systems include 40 VORs (VHF omnidirectional ranges)80 DMEs (distance measuring equipment installations)30 NDBs (non-directional beacons) and 40 ILSs (instrument landing systems), which handle the critical landing phase.
