ENAV wins an international tender in Uganda for the provision of the Flight Inspection Services

Garbini: ''We won the challenge. Now we are among the first but we have to stay there'.'

May 15, 2014 - ENAV continues the consolidation into foreign markets, winning the tender held by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority for the supply, for the next two years, the flight inspections services for validation and calibration of the radio signals of air navigation systems.

The ENAV Flight Inspection Service performs the control of radio-assistances as Radar, ILS (precision landing systems), air navigation aids (VOR, DME), through its own fleet of brand new aircraft specially equipped, engaged more than 2,000 flight hours per year and represent the most advanced systems in the world for the certification of air navigation aids.

This order - commented the CEO of ENAV Massimo Garbini - is yet another demonstration of our value in the international arena. I would say that the commercial challenge was won. Now comes the hard part. ENAV  in the world is no longer a start-up but one of the strongest players and now we have to be good to stay there.
