Rome, 14 january - Enav informs that, due to a systems malfunction in its Padua Area Control Center, that is responsible for managing air traffic for north-eastern Italy, which occurred around 12.40pm CET today, there are flight delays being experienced in particular in the Venice and Bologna airports.

The immediate activation of all systems backup has minimized the impact on passengers and the situation is rapidly returning to normal.

There has been no impact whatsoever on the levels of safety which remained at the highest level throughout the systems malfunction.
