Paolo Simioni is the Chief Executive Officer of ENAV S.p.A.
By resolution of 21 May 2020, the Board of Directors of ENAV granted Paolo Simioni all powers of ordinary and extraordinary administration of the Company, with the sole exception of the specific powers that cannot be delegated by law or the Articles of Association or reserved to the Board of Directors on the basis of the aforementioned resolution.

Paolo Simioni
Mr. Paolo Simioni holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Padua, and over the years has developed a wide experience in the management of companies operating in the field of infrastructure and transport, as well as in the sectors of re-development and retail.
Over the last 18 years, Mr. Simioni has held the role of CEO of a number of companies in the infrastructure and air transport sectors, namely Gruppo SAVE - Aeroporto di Venezia S.p.A., Catullo Airport Verona/Brescia S.p.A, and Aertre – Treviso S.p.A. He was also member of the Executive Committee of BSCA – Bruxelles South Charleroi Airport SA.
In the railway transport sector, he was CEO of Centostazioni S.p.A – Gruppo Ferrovie dello Stato, which he managed from its beginning as a start-up.
Previously he gained considerable experience in the construction, industrial, real estate, and Engineering service sectors, holding positions of increasing responsibility.
During his career he has gained significant expertise in the management of companies with mixed public and private capital. In the companies he managed, he has contributed to the expansion of the volume of their respective activities, developing projects to relaunch the business, the optimization of the cost structure, the improvement of the quality of services and the general growth of marginality indicators.
From August 2017 until 8 June 2020 he was President and General Manager of ATAC S.p.A., the largest European player in Local Public Transport, where he dealt with the solution of the business crisis through the instrument of the Concordato Preventivo in Continuità ex art. 160 LF - applied for the first time in the solution of the crisis of a large public company (1.0 billion € turnover, 12000 employees, 1.4 billion € debt position) - approved by the Court of Rome in June 2019. The corporate restructuring project was articulated through three highly complex operations such as the design and implementation of the Industrial Recovery Plan and the relaunch of the Company, which in 2018 allowed the achievement of the first profit in the history of ATAC, the reimbursement of credit through the Concordatary Manoeuvre stricto sensu and the resumption of the Investment Plan.
Since 21 May 2020 he has been Chief Executive Officer of ENAV.
