Recent studies conducted in Europe have outlined the scenarios that in the next few years will characterize the Air Traffic Management System (ATM).

Based on these indications - often under the umbrella of EUROCONTROL and of the European Commission - numerous probing studies or projects which Air Navigation Service Providers, companies and research centres adhere to with the common objective of harmonizing and optimizing the ATM system have been undertaken.

ENAV participates actively in international initiatives, among which the projects for the definition, experimentation and pre-operational validation of new concepts, ATM functions, technologies, procedures Human Machine Interface and other important aspects that concur to increase the safety, efficiency and capacity of the air space.
